At NS Modern I enjoyed using my creativity and leadership to boost the company from a two-man show to a flourishing business with 30+ employees within my first year. As our team grew my role shifted from UX/UI Designer and Web Developer to Creative Director and COO.

During this time I worked as a part-time freelancer on graphic design, UX/UI design, and web development projects as I also worked in various part-time positions such as Sales Representative, Language Instructor, and Translator. Though I’ve worked in many different industries at varying levels, my passion has always been for creative design. I’m grateful to be able to do what I love for a living.

A few things I enjoy are playing and watching sports, hanging out with friends and family, trying new foods, exploring the outdoors and traveling with my wife. As a couple we commit ourselves to weekly volunteer work to enjoy the kind of happiness that only comes from giving. The pic above is my wife and I being goofy and to the right is us at Mt. Everest Base Camp with our friends in 2021 :)
I was born in Salem, Oregon and grew up in Portland, Oregon where I gained my love for design. Since a small age my favorite subjects in school were math and art. Math for the problem solving, and art for the creativity. Both of which, I believe are essential for meaningful design. I enjoy constant learning and improving myself and my work.
